2.08 MW
Rooftop and Carport Solar Installation
Trenton, NJ

Project Overview

Our team completed a comprehensive 2.08 MW solar energy project to harness renewable energy across an entire campus. This ambitious initiative features a solar carport and numerous solar panel installations on multiple buildings, seamlessly integrating green energy solutions into the campus infrastructure.

Project Objectives

The goal of the project was to significantly cut the campus's carbon footprint, lower energy costs, and showcase the effectiveness of solar technology in an educational setting. It involved meticulous planning and strategic placement of solar installations, overcoming complexities by connecting them through multiple points of interconnection to a central distribution station for efficient energy distribution.

This is an important milestone in the college’s progress toward carbon neutrality and when combined with our other efforts to reduce demand through energy conservation will assure both the sustainability and resiliency of the college for the world our students will advance

Project Impact

The campus, now a stellar example of sustainability, demonstrates solar energy’s role in reducing reliance on fossil fuels and providing a hands-on learning environment for renewable technologies. The successful completion of this campus-wide solar project underscores the dedication to environmental stewardship and sets a precedent for future sustainable initiatives, setting an example for other educational institutions.
